The short version: your résumé is not for sale, recruiter spam stays out of your real inbox, and you can export or delete every byte we hold — in one click, no email back-and-forth. The legal-grade version lives below.
Incognito collects the information you provide: your name, email, resume text, job preferences, and application history. We also collect basic usage data (pages visited, features used) to improve the product.
Your data powers Incognito's AI features: resume tailoring, job matching, cover letter generation, interview prep, and related workflow assistance. We never sell your personal information to third parties. Your resume content is processed only as needed to deliver those features.
Your data is stored on our secure VPS infrastructure. Passwords are hashed with scrypt. Sessions expire after 7 days. You can export or delete all your data at any time from Settings.
We use AI providers, search providers, billing processors, and job-source integrations to operate the service. Those services receive only the minimum data needed for their specific function.
You can: export your data, delete your account and all associated data, and opt out of email notifications. Contact us at support@useincognito.com.
If you are located in the European Union, you have rights under the GDPR including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact support@useincognito.com. We comply with CCPA requirements for California residents as well.
